Union Bank of India Recruitment 2025 Age Limit (as on 01-02-2025)

• Minimum Age : 20 Years
• Maximum Age : 28 Years
• However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates must have completed & have passing certificate for their graduation on or after 01.04.2021.

Salary

• The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Hiring Process

i. Selection of candidates who apply for engagement of apprentices in the Bank after paying the requisite online examination fee shall have to undergo the selection process, which would comprise the following:

• Online Test (objective type)
• Knowledge and Test of Local Language
• Wait List
• Medical Examination

ii. The online examination will consist of four tests i.e., General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Knowledge.

iii. The candidate applying for trainee seats of a particular state, must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that state.

iv. Selected candidates will have to produce their 10th /12th standard mark sheet / certificate evidencing having studied the specified local language

v. Wait List of successful candidates may be declared by Bank at its sole discretion to meet the requirement of the Bank in respect of non-acceptance / non-reporting by the selected candidates from the First Merit List.

vi. Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to the candidates producing medically fit certificate from a practicing registered general physician who must be minimum a MBBS.

How to Apply?

• Extend Final date for submission of application is 12.03.2025
• The eligible candidates as per notification are requested to apply only ON-LINE through Apprenticeship Portal (NATS Portal) of Government of India: https://nats.education.gov.in.
• No other mode of submission of application will be accepted by the Bank.
• Candidates who have registered on NATS portal will have to login and then apply for the Apprenticeship opportunity/advertisement published by the Bank on the portal.
• In NATS portal candidates can view the Apprenticeship Advertisement of “Union Bank of India” under “Apply against Advertised Vacancies” after login into the portal by visiting https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php
• In case the vacancy from union Bank are not visible in the Industry Name under “Apply against Advertised Vacancies” please go to the option “Apply against yearly requirements” on the same page and search for the Union Bank of India in Industry name.
• Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile no. which must be kept active till the declaration of results.
• It will help him/her in receiving intimation letter/advice etc. by email/SMS.
• If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please go back to the email received from BFSI SSC ([email protected] ) and repeat the process again till you successfully make the payment online.

General Information

Eligibility Criteria and Important Notes for Apprenticeship at Union Bank of India:

1. Apprenticeship Eligibility:
   Candidates must NOT have previously undergone Apprenticeship Training either with Union Bank of India or with any other organization, nor should they be currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961, as amended.

2. Work Experience:
   Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship Training or have any job experience for one year or more after acquiring the necessary educational qualifications are NOT eligible to apply for the Apprenticeship position.

3. Employment after Apprenticeship:
   Union Bank of India does not guarantee regular employment to Apprentices during or after the completion of the apprenticeship period. Once the apprenticeship is over, candidates will be relieved from the on-the-job training.

4. Bank’s Decision:
   The Bank’s decision regarding all aspects of the recruitment process, including eligibility, acceptance/rejection of applications, selection mode, or the cancellation of the selection process (partially or fully), is final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

5. Filling of Seats:
   The Bank holds full discretion over filling the seats based on the suitability of candidates. There is no claim for engagement if some seats remain unfilled due to candidates’ unsuitability or insufficient candidates.

6. Incomplete Applications:
   Online applications that are incomplete will not be considered eligible and will be rejected.

7. Eligibility Verification:
   Candidates must ensure their eligibility for engagement as an apprentice before applying. The Bank will admit candidates to the test based solely on the information provided in the online application. Eligibility will be verified only during document verification.

8. Provisional Admission:
   Admission to the tests is purely provisional, as candidates’ age, qualifications, category (SC/ST/OBC/PWBD), etc., will not be verified at the time of admission.

9. Application Submission:
   Candidates are advised to apply well in advance of the closing date to avoid last-minute issues, such as disconnection or failure to access the website due to high traffic.
